Gallup, New Mexico—Employees at Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services (RMCHCS) had several opportunities to hear from their Chief Executive Officer, David Conejo, and Chief Operating Officer, William Kiefer, BSN, MBA on plans to help stabilize the organization. The two leaders took over on Friday, August 29, following the RMCHCS Board of Trustees’ decision to enter into a management services agreement with NewLight Healthcare, LLC and to give Healthcare Integrity, LLC an option to purchase and right of first refusal.

NewLight Healthcare, LLC of Austin, Texas is a hospital management and consulting company with 13 hospitals under management and another seven hospitals in their network. Healthcare Integrity of Bonham, Texas is owned and co-founded by David Conejo and Pablo Chapa. The Board made this decision in order to correct RMCHCS’ serious financial situation. “This decision allows RMCHCS to enter into a new phase,” said RMCHCS Board Chair, Pricilla Smith. “We are pleased to bring in Mr. Conejo’s and Mr. Keifer’s talents and new resources to help stabilize the organization and improve our services.”
